Optimise were asked to support Arcadis with delivery of a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) service to support the MAN-TP programme. The initial contract focused on producing a specification against key client objectives and then develop a process set to enhance decision making and provide underpinned confidence values for delivery. Once the systems and processes had been implemented, the contract then ran into the delivery phase, supporting the programme in identifying and managing the risks within the programme and supporting projects. The contract evolved into refinement of the processes to meet the client needs in the most efficient way.
Key milestones which optimise delivered were:
- the development of a programme risk management strategy and plan which was independently endorsed and approved by the MAG Group (the end client).
- Risk assessment and appraisal of the PP01 procurement package of work for design and build of the Terminal 2 Extension, Existing T2 Multi-Story Car Park Extension and a new Multi-story car park with a value of circa £400m.
- Early development of the workstream risk registers for Car Parks, Landside, Terminal and Airfield, logistics and IT.
- Development and implementation of a management reporting suite and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) to aid in decision making.
