Riskollective is an exclusive network for the new and next generation of risk professionals in the North West of England.
The group exists to bring together individuals within the risk management industry who are just starting out in their career, new to the profession altogether or recent risk graduates. It aims to connect and grow the members at the beginning of their career by creating a community where relationships can be developed professionally and personally, offering support to one another and in addition potential educational benefits.

The foundation of Riskollective will be through various events held for members to give the opportunity to make connections and develop useful applicable skills. Events will be fun, friendly and insightful. It is important to not only be involved in a professional network for individual development but to be a part of a great community, and that is what Riskollective is all about. Coming together as a community will give great personal exposure as well as exposure to the profession as the next generation evolves.
The Chair 2022/2023 – Nicola Boyle
As being someone who has not long started their career and first full-time job in risk, I knew there were not going to be many people I knew in the profession. I graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) in 2021 with a degree in Risk Management and made the move down to the North West of England at the tail end of 2021 to join the team at optimise.
Since starting a new life down here in England, I recognised that there would be many likeminded people in the same position. That be moving to a new city, just graduated or at the beginning of their career. This is where the creation of Riskollective stemmed from. Building a network to create a community for the new and next generation of risk professionals to help individuals like myself to connect with others, provide support and learn key skills.
I am excited and looking forward to what the future holds for Riskollective as it offers individuals a great chance to quickly grow and develop early on in their professional life.
